Trudging through the pitch black night, she searched for any potential witches to hunt. Her supply did not suffer from insufficiency and her gem all cleared from the time leap, yet stocking up on the necessary sustenance that maintained her existence was essential. In case of limited witch spawns or the need of them come time of walpurgisnacht, she planned to be set for any situation that occurred.
There was, however, a snag in her agenda. Staring coldly and analytically at the blond patrolling the park just below the street light from where she stood. “Mami Tomoe.” She said under her breath with a harsh and frozen monotone. She didn’t despise the girl, but countless times her plans to protect Madoka from becoming a magical girl hinged on Mami’s involvement with the pinkette. It didn’t help matters given there was certainly a witch nearby, and typically that never meant well with their meetings.
“What are you doing out here at such a later hour?”
Witch hunting. It was something Mami was growing to enjoy now that she did not have to do it every single day of the week. She had gotten experienced to the point where she conserve enough magic to last at least a week on one grief seed. However, being the overachiever that she is, Mami had built up a considerable supply that her and her girlfriend, Kazumi, now were able to easily live off of. Witch hunts became something fun now, either alone or together.
This time, Mami had ended up on her own for this little bit of fun. She knew the witch was nearby, having settled on the innermost part of the park. Her face going serene as she started to tune into the magic left around by the witch. That was when she sensed another magic as well.

She turned just as the words left Homura’s mouth, serene look exchanging itself for a playful smirk. Her drilled hair flowing behind her in the wind, Mami would wink up at purple magi, still in her own civilian clothes. “My~ Akemi-san, is that any way to talk to your elders? I should be asking you that. With the little time loop you’ve been going on… What does that make me?” Still smirking, Mami would put a finger to her chin in thought. “…Two years older?” Her tone would then drop to a bit more menacing than the cheery one she had moments ago. “As your elder… I order you to leave. This is my territory and we both know what, Akemi-san.
